Garry Winogrand 1964,
by Trudy Wilner Stack

"The first time I got a chance to sit with this book was at the ICP Library in New York, and as I flipped through the pages it was as if life stood still. Published after his lifetime, Garry got a chance to travel America during 1964 and made many of his famous photographs. The work is so precise but also so free. Filled with discovery if one is willing to look."

The Sweet Flypaper of Life,
by Roy DeCarava, Langston Hughes

"Roy DeCarava was the first Black photographer to win the Guggenheim fellowship, and even with the accolades he couldn't get a book publisher. That's until he decided to give his photos to Langston Hughes. This turned out to be a great marriage of photos and words."

Fifteen Miles to K-Ville,
